Born out of a love of catchy indie rock numbers from the 2000’s and beyond, Good Hounds are capturing their own unique style of bittersweet pop with folk sensibilities. Starting as a solo project from singer songwriter Lachie Campbell, needing an outlet for his burgeoning songwriting talent, found a musical match in steadfast Stone’s obsessed Eli Gallagher (drums). More recently they’ve joined up with Joe Summers (bass) and have since been trying to craft honest songs that explore introspection, nostalgia and coming of age, with a sound that harks back to bands such as Crowded House, The Shins, and Big Thief.
