The Dated formed in 2016 as most bands do, through a combination of kissing frogs and serendipity.

Growing up and going out in the hey day of Aussie Pub rock, the sounds and emotion of that music permeate their tunes.
Nostalgia is a yearning for a dimly remembered past. The Dated reject this motivation and seek instead to play music that acknowledges their journey to this point and reflects their collective experience of the here and now.

The line up of drums (Damien), bass (Tony), a brace of guitars (Bill and Ross) and vocals (Keith) have been releasing music since 2018.
